THE BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Arthaus Beirut is the boutique hotel of the Middle East.

Nestled in the bohemian district of Gemmayze, at the heart of Beirut; a city whose vibrant art, food, and nightlife are legendary.

Arthaus offers the best possible location in Beirut, in a breathtaking setting built on the grounds of a Roman Villa, of which vestiges can be admired in the garden.

Guests can also enjoy a sophisticated and extensive concierge service, offering a myriad of exclusive tailor-made experiences.

AN URBAN OASIS

Discreetly tucked away from the bustling street life of Gemmayze in an urban oasis, our 15 units of rooms and suites span two architecturally distinctive buildings.

Once a home to Zoe and Nabil, the properties have been restored to pay homage to their deep-rooted heritage. Arthaus fuses 19th Century ottoman design with an eclectic and contemporary flair. The idyllic gardens with their expansive sandstone terraces, and partially shaded swimming pool, create an exceptional outdoor experience.

UNIQUE DINING

Arthaus Beirut provides guests with an exciting all-day dining service, offering a wide choice of innovative, market fresh dishes. Our chefs take their inspiration from the changing seasons to create their menus, using mainly locally sourced produce. Alongside the unique dining experiences on offer at Arthaus, our prize-winning barmen will delight you with a vast array of signature cocktails and an extensive wine list, to be enjoyed in the gardens and in our various bars.

FINE ART CURATION

Art is at the heart of the Arthaus experience. As passionate collectors, Zoe and Nabil Debs have spent decades selectively curating a broad collection of multi-media pieces. Divided internationally between the Arthaus projects, the majority of their visual art is housed in Arthaus Beirut. Together with fine art, Arthaus Beirut boasts a private collection of excellent condition archeological artifacts and rare books, as well as an extensive collection of local Roman mosaics.

Rooms

The rooms at Arthaus Beirut have been named after members of the Debs family, a wonderful cast of twenty-five distinctive characters.

Spread over four architecturally distinct houses, passed down over generations, each room reflects the allure and character of its namesake.

All of our rooms are therefore unique, boasting an elegant blend of history and the arts.
